Founding Director
Iain is a Operations Petrophysicist with a strong and current operational background. He has over 29 years of experience in the energy industry, and his journey has been marked by a steadfast commitment to optimising well operations. Iain has worked with oil and gas companies across Africa, Europe, Middle, Central and Southeast Asia and South America.
Matthew Blyth
Director - Americas at Islay Subsurface LLC
Matt is a borehole acoustics specialist, with 28 years at SLB. He spent 12 years as the global domain head for LWD acoustics, geomechanics and geophysics. He has worked with a wide variety of customers and operators across the globe and has been involved with the SPWLA for many years, where he will be the upcoming 2027-2028 President of the society.
