#IslayOnTour 2026 Photo Competition
From the Maldives to the Alps, Islay merch has been spotted in some truly amazing places.
And the winners are…
What started back in February as a bit of fun turned into something much bigger than we expected.
We were blown away by the number, creativity and variety of submissions to #IslayOnTour – so much so that, when it came time to choose a winner, we decided one Islay getaway simply wasn’t enough.
We’re delighted to announce our two #IslayOnTour 2026 winners:
Douglas McClymont – St Andrews, Scotland
Douglas' Islay water bottle made its way to the Home of Golf, where this brilliant shot saw it tucked under the arm of Old Tom Morris. We loved the humour and creativity behind the image – and it certainly made the Islay merch look at home in St Andrews!
Alistair Cook – Cliffs of Moher, Ireland
Alistair captured an Islay-branded Bunnahabhain miniature against the spectacular backdrop of the Cliffs of Moher – a fantastic shot that perfectly captured the spirit of #IslayOnTour.
Doug and Ali each win an Islay getaway for two, including return flights from Glasgow to Islay, two nights at the five-star Glenegedale House, and a complimentary seafood platter and bottle of white wine during their stay.
Runner-up – Andrew Winter
Andrew's atmospheric shot of an Islay-branded Bunnahabhain miniature in the Angus Glens earned our runner-up spot and a full-size bottle of Bunnahabhain whisky.

And that’s a wrap on our Islay Photo Competition!
Since launching the competition back in February, we’ve loved watching the submissions come in and seeing just how far Islay has travelled.
From Caithness to Crete, Estonia to the Maldives, the Alps to the Sound of Gigha – and plenty of places in between – our merch has made it to some pretty incredible locations.
This video brings together the fantastic entries we’ve received over the past few months, and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who got involved.
Whether you packed your Islay merch for a holiday, took it out on the water, up a mountain or simply spotted the perfect photo opportunity, every submission has made this competition what it is. We’ve genuinely enjoyed seeing where you’ve taken us.
