#IslayOnTour 2026: And the Winners Are…

2 min read

When we launched our #IslayOnTour photo competition back in February, we had no idea quite how far Islay merch would travel.

The response has been fantastic, with so many brilliant submissions arriving from around the UK and much further afield. In fact, we were so impressed by the number and quality of the entries that we decided one winner simply wasn’t enough…

So, we’re delighted to announce TWO winners, each receiving an Islay getaway for two!

🏆 Douglas McClymont

Douglas took the Islay water bottle to the Home of Golf, St Andrews, where it found itself in the company of golfing legend Old Tom Morris.

We loved the creativity and humour behind this one – somehow the bottle looks quite at home tucked under Old Tom’s arm! A simple idea, brilliantly executed, and a very worthy winning entry.

🏆 Ali Cook

Our second winning entry comes from the spectacular Cliffs of Moher in Ireland, with a miniature bottle of Bunnahabhain taking centre stage against one of the country’s most dramatic landscapes.

A fantastic shot and another perfect example of what #IslayOnTour was all about.

Douglas and Ali will each receive:

  • Return flights from Glasgow to Islay for two people

  • Two nights at the award-winning five-star Glenegedale House

  • A complimentary seafood platter and bottle of crisp white wine during their stay

Travel to Glasgow is the responsibility of the winners.

🥃 And one more prize…

Congratulations to our runner-up, Andrew Winter, whose brilliant shot from the Angus Glens features a miniature Bunnahabhain nestled beside a Highland stream.

Andrew will receive a full-size bottle of Bunnahabhain whisky – a fitting prize for a great entry!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part over the past few months. We’ve genuinely loved seeing where you’ve taken Islay, and the sheer number of submissions made choosing our winners far harder than we expected.

Congratulations, Doug, Ali and Andrew – and thank you to everyone who made #IslayOnTour such a success.

Now it’s time for two of our winners to make the journey to Islay for real! 🥃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
